Hounslow is well situated in the heart of the Eastern Cape, only 20km from the beautiful historic city of Grahamstown and a close 80km from the Sunshine Coast. Our nearest airport is Port Elizabeth, 130 km away.

Hounslow Safaris is headed by Robert Dell and Andrew Myers. We intend to offer you an absolutely unforgettable African hunting experience. It is our concern that you are well looked after and are able to make the best of every opportunity that presents itself on safari.

Our hunting, as well as catering staff are highly qualified in what they do and take pride in ensuring that your experience is of the utmost quality.

Landscape with hunters

The vegetation found on Hounslow is a combination of Valley Bushveld, Grassveld and Tree Thickets. The Valley Bushveld is unique to the Fish River Eastern Cape area.

Hounslow is home to a number of species including Cape Kudu, Waterbuck, Cape Bushbuck, Impala, Cape Springbuck, Black Springbuck, Duiker, Steenbuck, Warthog and a number of various other species. We are able to cater for any additional hunting needs or requirements on hunting concessions within comfortable driving distance, including the Big Five.

The Eastern Cape Kudu is one of our most sought after trophies. Due to our management practice and because of our great location, we are able to yield excellent Kudu hunting. Multiple sightings have become a daily event as a result of selective harvesting and quality habitat. We also limit the number of hunters and have been able to maintain a high quality hunt.
